Dr Khalid Ali is a leading expert in the field of rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery. As a consultant ear, nose and throat (ENT) Surgeon he has trained at leading medical institutions across the globe and has been practising for over 25 years.
He is on the Specialist Register of Consultants with the General Medical Council. Dr Ali's practices are located at his Rhinoplasty clinic in Manchester located at number 599 Wilmslow Road, and the world prestigious Harley Street in London, at number 1 Harley Street.
Dr Khalid Ali has special interest in rhinoplasty for cosmetic and functional needs. He has extensive experience in rhinoplasty surgery and has fine-tuned his approach using both the open approach to address nasal tip cosmetic conditions and nasal bony part, and the closed approach.
Dr Ali has also developed a significant interest in cosmetic ear surgery (ear pinning, otoplasty), and other facial plastic and aesthetic surgery.
Achievements
Dr Ali is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the British Rhinology Society, and also the European Rhinology Society. Dr Ali is member of the American Rhinologic Society.
Dr Ali has completed postgraduate training at centres of excellence throughout the UK and abroad. He is recognised by the Fellowships of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) in London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow which qualifies him as a senior surgeon. He has also completed a higher degree in the Fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) in London.
Dr Ali is European Board certified and has obtained the European Board Certificate in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (EBE ORL-HNS) in Vienna, Austria.
In 2017, Dr Ali was awarded the MD Degree (Doctor of Medicine) from the University of Leicester, for his achievement in medical research. This is the highest degree a surgeon can achieve.
Dr Ali completed a fellowship in 2009 at the Washington University Hospital, USA. In 2005, Dr Ali obtained a master's degree in surgery from Newcastle University and completed a fellowship in Portland, USA.
Dr Ali is actively involved in training the next generation of ENT surgeons. He is involved in auditing, research and teaching of both undergraduate and postgraduate doctors. Dr Ali regularly presents his latest research and many published peer reviewed scientific papers in his specialist field at international medical conferences. He has been invited to speak at several national and international courses.
